"Obolon" continues to run wild
In the first match of the 9th round, Odesa "Chornomorets" visited Kyiv "Obolon", which in the last round finally won its first victory in the UPL. Rudko rescued the defender. In the 33rd minute, "Obolon" organized a beautiful combination, which was completed by Taranukha in one touch, but the sailors were saved by the post.
After the break, "Chornomorets" recovered somewhat and began to respond to "Obolon" with their moments, but the ball frankly did not go into the goal. The match was tied until Ilya Shevtsov, a rookie from Odesa, had his say. He came on as a substitute in the 85th minute and scored his debut goal for Chornomorets just two minutes later.
Dmytro Khoblenko broke through the flank, shot to the penalty area, where Shevtsov, who was not covered by anyone, crossed the ball into the goal of the brewers, setting the final score on the scoreboard - 1:0.
"Obolon" continues to be in the penultimate place, and "sailors" rose from 11th to 8th place.
Dry zeros in Lviv
In another match on Friday, "Karpat" from Lviv visited "Ingulets", which has yet to taste victory this season. Before the equator of the first half, "Ingulets" had a lot of its moments, which it was not possible to realize. By the 30th minute, the game had somewhat leveled out and "Carpathians" even managed to score, but Ocheretka's goal was disallowed due to Neves' offside.
Neves could have scored within a minute, but Palamarchuk pulled the ball from under the post. "Ingulets" responded in a few minutes, when Malysh hit the goal post from a few meters away.
The second half started immediately with attacks by both teams. At first, Malysh scored in the fall, but the "Karpat" goalkeeper came to the rescue, and after a few minutes, Chachua almost opened the score in the match, hitting the post, and two minutes later he scored, but the referee again canceled the goal taking due to offside.
In the 80th minute, the total bad luck of "Karpat" continued, when the "lions" earned a penalty, but Neves could not beat Palamarchuk. The match ended with "dry zeros" on the scoreboard.
A strong-willed victory for "Veres" at home
In the first match on Saturday, "Zorya" from Luhansk came to "Veres" from Rivne. The start of the match was a shock for "Veres". At first, Mrvaljevic wasted a moment when he didn't take advantage of Luan's pass to the center of the penalty area, and the Lugansk team immediately answered with a goal - Antyukh broke through the flank and shot, and Horbach closed the near post - 1:0 already in the 9th minute.
But "Veres" did not sit back in defense and the equals managed to equalize after 9 minutes. Mrvaljevic from the second floor blocked Protasevich's cross from the right wing.

"Zorya" could have equalized the score right away, but Antyukha's shot was caught by the crossbar.
Until the end of the match, "Veres" managed to "quench" the attacks of "Zora", and the match ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the team from Rivne.
Battle for leadership positions with a dramatic outcome at the end of the match
Another match on Saturday was played by "Olexandria", which was visited by "Rukh". "Rukh" slowed down a bit after the international break, but "Olexandria" continued to impose a struggle on Kyiv "Dynamo" for the highest places in the table.

Smolyakova's masterpiece helped "Polyssia" beat "Vorskla"
In the first match on Sunday, Poltava "Vorskla" visited "Polyssia" from Zhytomyr. It should be noted that before the start of the match, "Polyssia" congratulated its already former player Vasyl Hrytsuk, who switched to a coaching job in the Zhytomyr team.
At the start of the match, the guests had the first opportunity to score after a solo pass and a shot from Iede, but at the last moment Smolyakov knocked the ball off the goal line. The people of Zhytomyr dared to respond for a long time, but at first they created a not too dangerous opportunity with a shot by Melnichenko, which went over the target. Already in 8 minutes, Perduta, without encountering resistance from the defenders of the Wolves, broke through the flank and shot to the penalty spot directly at Kane, who hit exactly under the crossbar of the Volynets goal - 1:1.
In the second half, it was not possible to single out any of the teams. Both attacked sharply, but it was goalless until the 71st minute, until Smolyakov, who saved in the first half, scored a handsome goal that could compete for the best goal of the tour. Bohdan Lednev served a corner kick, the ball bounced to Smolyakov after taking it out, and without being confronted by the "Vorskla" defenders, he was able to receive the ball, extend it a few meters and powerfully, and most importantly, hit the Isenka goal - 2:1.

In just 4 minutes, Sudakov made a poker, responding to finishing - 5:0. All the same, "LNZ" managed to score its prestigious goal, albeit on the second attempt. The Cherkasy team received the right to a penalty, but managed to score it only on the second attempt. At first, Riznyk pulled Shot Nonikashvili's shot, but the referee signaled to stop, because the goalkeeper of the Donetsk team went to the shot beyond the goal line. On the second attempt, the Georgian forward still scored, although Riznyk was close to deflecting the shot, and the final whistle recorded a rout - 5:1.
"Dynamo" wins thanks to Rubchinsky's quick goal

By the way, this is Rubchinsky's second goal in a row.
After 15 minutes, Shovkovskyi's wards could double the advantage - Guerrero dared to take a long shot, but the visitors' keeper managed to transfer the ball to a corner. Due to this standard, Dynamo received the right to a penalty, when the ball hit the hand of the Kryvbasa defender after Popov's shot. Kyiv captain Vitaly Buyalsky converted the penalty, but Klischuk came close to save the team.
After such a cold shower, "Kryvbas" became somewhat more active and even scored before the curtain of the first half - after Zaderaka's pass, Mihavko accidentally cut the ball into his own goal - 2:1.
Both clubs had chances in the second half, but the score did not change until the final whistle.
