In 2024, the number of Ukrainians who voluntarily restricted access to gambling has tripled. As of today, there are 12,807 people in the Ludoman Register. This is evidenced by the data of the analytical platform "Openatable".
Last year, the register was replenished for 9 389 new people, while in 2023 there were much less such appeals. On average, 780 people were added to the list every month. At the same time, 1,496 people were excluded - after the end of the restriction.
In total, 14,979 Ukrainians have entered it since the register was created. Of these, 2 172 are no longer on the list.
The overwhelming majority - 99% are voluntary appeals. People submit self -restraints to temporarily close access to gambling and visiting gambling. Restriction period - from six months to three years.
Only 1% of cases are a restriction on the decision of the Gambling and Lottery (Drot) Commission. There were 169 such decisions, 140 of them in 2023. At the same time, no person has been hit by a court decision.

It is worth noting that since 2023 banks are obliged to deny people who have game addiction. If a citizen spent money on gambling, they can be introduced to the special financial register at the request of close relatives - parents, children or spouses.
