In Kyiv, law enforcement officers have charged a 28-year-old man with blackmailing a girl with intimate photos. According to the regional prosecutor's office, the man threatened to send "spicy" photos to her colleagues and relatives if she did not transfer money to him.
In exchange for silence, he demanded $10,000, which had to be transferred to a cryptocurrency wallet. As investigators established, he did not even know the victim.
The perpetrator faces a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years with confiscation of property.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
