A mobilized soldier tragically died in Transcarpathia

On May 23, a mobilized soldier who had previously been deemed fit for service based on the results of a military medical commission (MMC) tragically died in the Transcarpathian region.

The regional military registration and enlistment office reported that after the mobilized man's health deteriorated sharply, he was provided with first aid and an ambulance was called. However, the doctors who arrived on the call declared the conscript dead.

In connection with this incident, an official inspection has been ordered to establish the circumstances and causes of the tragedy. Unfortunately, this is not the first case when mobilized personnel, whom the VLK recognizes as fit for service, subsequently experience serious health problems.

Other details are not yet disclosed.
