A new mini-sculpture has appeared in Kyiv as part of the tourist art project "Search!" This time it is dedicated to the Kyiv Contracts - the legendary fairs held on Kontraktova Square, which got its name precisely because of this event. This was announced by the founder of the project, Yulia Bevzenko.

History you can see
The mini-sculpture is installed near the Contract House, a historic building where businessmen from all over Europe concluded trade deals in the 18th and 19th centuries. The bronze composition depicts a counter where a contract is signed, a symbol of the era when Kyiv first gained the status of an international economic center.
Yulia Bevzenko noted that the new sculpture honors Kyiv as a city of entrepreneurship, money, connections, and the free exchange of ideas.

Kontraktova as a center of business life
The Contract Fair, held in winter, became a landmark event for Podol. It was at this time of year that the dirt roads froze, and the city could be easily reached by sled. For several weeks, Kyiv would turn into a giant marketplace — a place where not only goods but also influences, cultures, and business styles converged.
In those days, Kontraktova Square was the heart of business Kyiv, and Kontraktova Building was the true epicenter of agreements and decisions that changed the economic landscape of the region.
The sculpture became another exhibit of the interactive city quest "Search!", which combines elements of history, tourism, and urbanism.
