The incident occurred around midnight when local residents heard several shots fired in the Sofiivska Borshchahivka area. The first reports of the shooting reached the police at around 00:30.
"A group of drunk men fired about 7 shots from a pistol. Since it was during an air raid, local residents initially thought it was shooting at Shahedy. But then they realized that the fire was being fired from the windows of the apartment. None of the local residents were injured. The men barricaded themselves in the apartment and did not open the door to the law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene, after which the KORD special forces arrived, preparing to storm the apartment where those who shot were holed up," the source said.
So far, two men have been detained during the storming - these are all who were in the apartment at the time of the police arrival.
Law enforcement officers are establishing their identities. Investigative actions are underway, looking for the weapon used to shoot.
Previously, some of those who might have been in the apartment left it before the arrival of law enforcement officers.
