A woman who set several cars on fire was detained in Kyiv

In Kyiv, in the Desnyanskyi district, law enforcement officers detained a 27-year-old woman who set fire to several parked cars on Ronald Reagan Street and Chervonaya Kalyna Avenue. The incident occurred a few days ago, and police quickly began an investigation.

Police received a report of two cars being set on fire. It turned out that a woman, while intoxicated, had set fire to trash she found nearby and placed it under the parked cars — first under a Ford, and then under a Volkswagen.

The attacker was unable to explain the reasons for her act. At this point, criminal proceedings have been opened, and the detainee has been notified of suspicion. The woman could receive up to 10 years in prison for committing this crime.
