A serious traffic accident involving two trucks occurred on the Boryspil Highway in Kyiv on the morning of April 2. As a result of the accident, rescuers had to free one of the victims from the crushed car. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.
Rescuers received a signal about the accident at 9:06 a.m. At the scene, it was determined that as a result of the collision between a MAN and a Hyundai truck, the passenger of the latter was trapped between the seat and the control panel.
The injured man, born in 2001, was unable to get out of the cabin on his own. State Emergency Service employees, using special hydraulic and electrical tools, conducted a rescue operation and freed him from the damaged cabin.
The driver of the Hyundai truck, who was also injured, was handed over to medical personnel before rescuers arrived. Information about his condition is not being released at this time.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
