People's Artist of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva was hospitalized at the capital's Heart Center for treatment. Because of this, two scheduled performances with her participation had to be postponed. Her daughter Kateryna Stepankova spoke about the condition of the 87-year-old actress.
Hero of Ukraine, people's artist, theater and film actress Ada Rogovtseva was hospitalized. Two performances had to be canceled due to health issues. Her daughter, director Kateryna Stepankova, announced this on her Facebook page on Wednesday, November 13.
"A week ago, my mother was in the hospital. It was hard. Cancellation and postponement of two performances. Impossibility to visit the Land of Poets. Mom's despair about withdrawal. And absolute uncertainty regarding further performances and recovery terms," Stepankova wrote.
The 87-year-old actress was treated at the Kyiv Heart Center.
Despite the illness, Ada Rogovtseva has already returned to her favorite business. Her first performance after the restoration "Be at home" took place in Odesa. The daughter of the actress shared her admiration for her mother's willpower and professional dedication.
"I stood behind the scenes and once again marveled at her will, her unique ability to break herself in stage work, to overcome her own exhaustion for the sake of service! Thanks to the entire team of "Budte!" I thank God for the miracle that I am lucky to call my mother!" Stepankova added.
She also shared a photo with Rogovtseva after the performance.
