Biden administration accelerates arms transfer to Ukraine before Trump's inauguration, CNN

The administration of US President Joe Biden plans to accelerate as much as possible the transfer of a large amount of military aid to Ukraine before the inauguration of Donald Trump, if he officially takes office in January 2025. This was reported by CNN with reference to a high-ranking source in the White House.

"The Ministry of Defense is making a historic attempt to transfer a huge amount of weapons to Ukraine within the next five weeks. From now until mid-January, we will supply Ukraine with hundreds of thousands of artillery shells, thousands of rockets, hundreds of armored vehicles and other critically important capabilities," said the interlocutor of the publication.

In this way, the Democrats want to "provide Kyiv with a solid foundation for preparing for 2025," when the Republicans will seize power.

We will remind that the day before Trump declared that he was not going to "abandon" Ukraine, while he recently allowed a decrease in aid to Kyiv.
