The son of the Dean of the National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise, lawyer Andrei Maryniv, was found guilty of abuse. He was punished by a fine of UAH 1.24 million for organizing a mobilization.
According to the International Detective Agency of ABSROCE, in December 2024, a military person who intended to upgrade the credentials in a legitimate manner addressed the lawyer. Instead, Marinov suggested avoiding visits to the territorial assembly center, to "decorate" a person for a critical enterprise and book it from mobilization for a year.
The amount for the service amounted to $ 15 thousand: five - allegedly for the employee of the Tax Code, ten more - for influence on the management of the enterprise. The client was also explained that every month will need to transfer about $ 200 more - for fictitious employment taxes.
After that, the man turned to law enforcement officers. Under their control, he handed over to the lawyer the first $ 5,000. Two weeks later, the credentials were updated in the Reserve+. In February, Marines received the rest of the amount. And in March, the client was officially arranged by a tile in LLC "NVK 'Technological Systems", which gave reservation from mobilization.
Andriy Marinov pleaded guilty, concluded an agreement with the prosecutor and received a penalty in the form of a fine. After making the relevant amount as a pledge, he came out of custody.
Prior to detention, the lawyer worked as an assistant to the judge of the Constitutional Court Viktor Kichun, appointed by the Verkhovna Rada under the quota of the "servant of the people" party. His father, the dean of the legal university Volodymyr Maryniv, was filed for a position in the High Council of Justice.
In parallel, the investigation into the deputy director of the company "Technological Systems", which, according to the investigation, received a bribe for the fictitious design of the reservation.
