Lawyers and judges drained information about investigative actions by the defendants of NABU cases

In the case of a law firm Guarantee of Your Rights, headed by Dmitry Borzikh, the only case of leakage of information from the Unified State Register of Judgments was found. According to NABU Director Semen Krivonos in an interview with Zn.ua, we are talking about mass and systematic compromising of access to the EDSRSR, in particular from judges and officials.

According to him, the situation is much more serious than previously thought, and goes far beyond the jurisdiction of anti -corruption bodies. NABU detectives recorded dozens of cases where hundreds of thousands of requests were made from one account, and from thousands of different IPs.

“For example, one of the judges made 1 million 174 thousand requests. And this is not a single case. We found users from 1.084 million and 1.072 million inquiries. And the worst thing-the entrance came from more than 5 thousand different IPs, ”Krivonos emphasizes.

Until recently, access to the registry was only protected by a login and password, which made the system vulnerable to leaks. Currently, the so -called "solid key" is used - a physical carrier, which significantly complicates unauthorized access. However, the consequences of the previous "hole" will remain relevant for a long time.

“We found that the origins were not only in NABU's affairs. The problem is systematic, it covers the entire law enforcement system, ”the director of the bureau said.

Investigators' special attention was attracted by lawyers from the Guarantee of Your Rights, who created a fully automated bot for data from the registry - this allowed them to know in advance about future investigative actions, searches, arrests. Their main interest is the things that NABU investigates, in particular against top officials.

However, as Krivonos noted, there are other lawyer firms that have traded access to the registry for years using weaknesses in the system.

NABU is currently a large-scale comparison of IP addresses, accounts and plot of cases, after which the materials will be transferred to the cyber police. The bureau also offers legislative changes:

  • Temporary classification of some court decisions, in particular at the stage of pre -trial investigation;

  • The possibility of a prosecutor or investigator to prohibit the publication of a specific decision;

  • Improvement of the registry access system.

“Investigators who are searched are immediately seen when the persons have already been warned. We have recorded it more than once. If we do not block this "hole", it will continue to kill justice in investigations, " - sums up Semen Krivonos.
