The digital application “Reserve+” has restored the possibility of applying for a deferment from mobilization for parents raising three minor children in a joint marriage. The service was unavailable due to technical work in the registers of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, which occurred after a large-scale cyberattack.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko announced on Facebook that the service is already working. “Reserve+ has restored the deferral service for parents with many children,” Chernogorenko noted.
The official previously explained that the technical problems were caused by an attack on the Ministry of Justice's digital databases, which caused many state registries to temporarily stop working.
Only military conscripts with three minor children can use the service. To do this, you need to submit the relevant documents through the “Reserve+” application, which simplifies the registration procedure.
Despite the difficulties caused by the cyberattacks, the Ministry of Defense, together with the Ministry of Justice, made efforts to quickly restore the service. This will allow parents with many children to continue fulfilling their family responsibilities while remaining within the legal framework.
UNN reports that the attack on the Justice Ministry's databases was part of a broader cyberattack aimed at Ukraine's state infrastructure. As a result, the work of many registries was suspended. However, the prompt response allowed services to be gradually restored.
The restoration of the service at “Reserve+” was an important step in supporting parents with many children who need legal protection under martial law.
