Poroshenko's son's assets were arrested by non -payment of taxes

The son of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko - Alexei - during the two years of a full -scale war he did not pay in Ukraine either a tax on personal income or military levy. This is stated in a journalistic investigation, which provides data on likely financial violations by politicians and businessman.

According to the authors of the investigation, the budget of Ukraine has not received at least UAH 770 million. The reason is the profits that Alexei Poroshenko received from the activities of foreign companies, in particular:

  • Agrohub pte. Ltd. (Singapore)

  • Agrohub Pty Ltd (Austria)

  • Central Europe Investments BV (Netherlands)

According to journalists, taxes on these income were paid at the place of registration of companies, but not in Ukraine, despite the fact that Alexei Poroshenko is a tax resident of Ukraine.

Fiscal authorities consider this fact as evasion of tax liabilities, which can be a basis for criminal liability.

In addition, it became known that Alexei Poroshenko is in London and does not appear on the summons. According to the current legislation, it already has the status of evidence, and its assets are arrested.

In order to unlock part of the property that was issued on his son, Petro Poroshenko was forced to pay a fine. According to sources, it is an amount exceeding US $ 1.5 billion - just previously reissued for Alexei.

The investigation is ongoing. The competent authorities are expected to give a legal assessment of the situation in the near future.
