Ukraine was able to stop the advance of Russian troops in the Kharkiv region thanks to the use of the latest American weapons. This was reported by OSINT analyst Julian Röpke of the Bild newspaper. According to his data, Russian troops have effectively stopped in two main directions, which was made possible thanks to significant military support from the United States.
Russian troops trying to advance in the Kharkiv region have encountered serious resistance from Ukrainian forces. In particular, in the direction of Liptsy, they remain in the same border villages that they captured in the first three days of the offensive. In the area of Vovchansk, despite the ongoing battles for the city, there has also been no significant advance of Russian troops.
Julian Röpke emphasized that the key role in deterring the Russian offensive was played by new American weapons received by Ukraine. In particular, GLSDB (Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb), Javelin anti-tank missile systems, and 155 mm artillery shells are actively used. These types of weapons have reached the front line not only in the Kharkiv region, but also in Donetsk.
The GLSDB bombs that Ukraine has received are highly accurate and capable of hitting targets at long distances, making them an effective means of countering Russian offensive operations, especially in hard-to-reach and fortified areas.
Javelin complexes, which have become a symbol of the Ukrainian resistance, continue to demonstrate high efficiency in the fight against enemy armored vehicles. Due to their technical characteristics, Javelin allows you to destroy tanks and other armored targets at a considerable distance, which significantly reduces the risks for the Ukrainian military.
The 155mm artillery shells supplied by the United States are also playing a critical role in stopping the Russian offensive. The high accuracy and power of these shells allow them to effectively destroy enemy positions and equipment, providing a significant advantage to Ukrainian forces on the battlefield.
