of Reconstruction Mission , which is coordinated by the Charitable Foundation "Christian Medical Association of Ukraine" (Khma), began in Lviv A team of eight leading surgeons from the United States arrived in the city, who will provide highly specialized medical care within a week.
The first consultations took place on the same day at the emergency medical care department of St. Nicholas Children's Hospital. Patients began at 14:00 and lasted until the last visitor - without a prior record. The attention of doctors is focused on patients with severe cases, including children with birth defects and victims of war.
By May 23, American surgeons will carry out free operations together with Ukrainian doctors in four Lviv medical institutions:

KNP ENT Center for Pediatric Medicine;

Hospital of St. Nicholas the first TMO Lviv;

Hospital of St. Luke of the First TMO Lviv;
-
Lviv Regional Hospital of Wars Veterans and Repressed by Yuri Lipa.
The main direction of the mission is reconstructive, plastic, lor- and maxillofacial surgery. They work with both wounded as a result of war and patients who require complex operations that are inaccessible in normal mode due to lack of narrow specialists or equipment.
The project is implemented jointly by several international partners:

Leap Global Missions - formation of a team of surgeons;

Ed's Friends and Razom for Ukraine - financing;

FF "Khma" - logistics, coordination, integration with the Ukrainian medical system.
Since the implementation of the Reconstruction Mission, more than 800 patients have received medical care. These are mainly children and adults with min-explosive injuries, severe burns and complex facial lesions.
The organizers have already announced the following visits of surgeons to Ukraine as part of the mission - they promise to declare in the near future.
