In yet another corruption scandal among high-ranking officials in Ukraine, Deputy Justice Minister Olga Stefanishyna — Andriy Gaichenko — has come under scrutiny from the public and law enforcement agencies. It turned out that he had registered several luxury real estate properties worth more than millions of dollars in the name of his uncle.
And so, the official wrote down the following for Anatoly Tsyndrovsky, Haychenko's mother's brother:
▪️2019 – a land plot in the suburbs of Kyiv next to the plots of the official’s mother Lyudmila Tsyndrovska.
▪️2020 – a residential building and a land plot in the same place. The cost of land alone in this area is $3,000 per hectare. The official’s brother allegedly received all this as a gift.
▪️2021 – an apartment at 1B Igor Sikorsky St., Kyiv, worth about $130,000. Again, as a gift.
▪️2024 – a house in Vita-Poshtova with a land plot (15 hectares, estimated cost – from $60,000).
And this list is far from complete.
But in 2021, Haychenko employed his uncle's son Yevhen Tsyndrovskyi at the Ministry of Justice. And apparently, this relative of Haychenko is also actively involved in the scheme to conceal Haychenko's receipt of illegal income. Because Tsyndrovskyi Jr. declared a gift from his father for UAH 3 million in 2020. In 2021, another UAH 2 million from his father. In 2022, UAH 1 million as a gift. And then in the same year, he gave a car to an unknown person.
At the same time, since 2021, the NACP has never been able to verify either Haichenko's declarations or his lifestyle.
