But the fugitive lawyer is unlikely to appear. He is hiding in London, in an elite apartment purchased by his wife Anna Ogrenchuk two weeks before their loud wedding in Saint-Trope.
But while NABU hunts her husband, his wife until recently remained unaddressed by law enforcement. Anna Ogrenchuk is not just a well -known lawyer. Her name became a code word in behind -the -scenes arrangements. Externally-President of the Association of Lawyers of Ukraine (APP) from 2019 to 2021, current Vice-President of the APP, judicial reform advisor, participant many forums. But behind the facade hides a person who has built connections with the judges for years.
It all started with a favorable marriage: the first husband of Ogrenchuk was Roman Samsin - the son of the former chairman of the High Qualifications Commission of Judges (a body that determines the fate of judges) and the judge of the Supreme Court Igor Samsin. When the influence of the father -in -law came to naught, she divorced and linked life with a new favorite of the system - Dovbenko, who was called "watch" in the Poroshenko era by the Ministry of Justice.
Together with Denis Bugay, the former lawyer of Oligarch Kurchenko - Dovbenko and Ogrenchuk organized "turnkey decisions". When the boogie, compromised with the cooperation with the Russian Federation, left the post of chairman of the APP, he handed it to Ogrenchuk.
