In 2025, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office sent 124 indictments to the court. These are criminal proceedings against 280 people accused of causing losses to the state in excess of 21.5 billion hryvnias.
This was reported by the press service of the SAPO, publishing the results of its work for the year. The anti-corruption agency specified that among the persons involved in the cases are senior state officials, judges, prosecutors, heads of state enterprises, and people's deputies.
All 280 defendants have already appeared in court. The court will decide on their guilt and punishment.
Separately, the head of the SAPO, Oleksandr Klymenko, reported that as of the end of January 2026, 41 people's deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation had received suspicions from anti-corruption agencies. According to him, if we take into account the entire period of work of the NABU and the SAPO, over ten years, suspicions were declared against 79 current and former people's deputies.
The SAPO emphasizes that investigations are ongoing, and anti-corruption authorities continue to work to bring officials to justice.
