The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) has filed two claims for confiscation of assets for a total amount of more than UAH 8.5 million to the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (VAKS). It is about the officials of the Odessa customs Sergey and Galina Grinchyshyn, as well as their son Sergey Grinchyshyn, who holds the position of deputy chairman of the Obukhiv district council. According to the investigations, these assets were acquired illegally.

Investigation of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) and SAP found that in 2021 the Grinchyshyn family became owners:
- apartments in Odessa with an area of 103.8 square meters. m;
- apartments in Kiev with an area of 105.5 square meters. m, which was issued on the son of officials;
- car Toyota RAV-4 HYBRID 2018 release.
The ownership of these assets was registered with their close relative-87-year-old Claudia Vlasov, which, according to the investigation, is a scheme for concealing real owners.
Analysis of the financial condition of the customs family indicates that their official income was not enough to purchase such real estate and car.
As soon as the anti -corruption authorities began monitoring the lifestyle of Grinchyshyn, they urgently sold these assets, which only strengthened the suspicions of investigators.
In view of the detected violations, the SAP prosecutor appealed to the WACS for confiscation of assets in favor of the state. The cost of these assets and income from their sale is estimated at UAH 8.5 million.
