The anti-corruption bodies of Ukraine were released to the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court demanding to choose a preventive measure for Viceremer-Minister Alexei Chernyshov. NABU and SAP are asked to install a pledge of UAH 120 million, as well as temporarily remove the official from the performance of duties.
In addition, prosecutors require a number of restrictions. In particular, Chernyshov can prohibit communicating with witnesses and other persons involved in the case, leave the settlement without permission, and oblige to pass all foreign passports, wear an electronic bracelet and regularly appear on calls to the investigator.
The proceedings of the petition are scheduled today at 9:00. If the court satisfies the requirements of the SAP and NABU, Chernyshov will have five days to make a collateral.
NABU emphasizes that the amount of pledge is formed taking into account the risks, the nature of the case, as well as the current jurisprudence. The body also took into account that Chernyshov arrived in detectives on his own and did not avoid investigative actions.
Law enforcement officers do not disclose the details of the suspicion, but they note that the case concerns high -ranking corruption. The implementation of precautions can be a key stage in the investigation.
