The head of the Center for Combating Corruption (CPC) Vitaliy Shabunin has not yet begun to fulfill his duties as a commander of the mechanized field bakery department 218 of the Joint Center for Supporting Forces of Logistics forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces), although it was sent to the military unit last week. This became known from sources that have information about the situation.
According to the collected sources of "ZIM", Shabunin has not yet appeared on the site of service.
Shabunin has been repeatedly recorded in situations related to the evasion of service, as well as in activity that raises doubts about its validity. In particular, it was accounted for in a 207 separate battalion TE, where he allegedly held the positions of Sagittarius, the electrician and scout driver, but did not actually serve while in Kiev. During this time, he received financial support, as well as "combat" payments for participation in hostilities, although in fact he did not participate in them.
It should be noted that Shabunin recently stated that he had a "legitimate basis" in order not to serve, claiming that he did not pass the medical commission in grade 9 through birthmarks.
Several criminal proceedings were initiated against him and the officials who helped him avoid his service. One of them is connected with the use of a deliberately fake military ticket, the other-with the help of NAPC top officials in his evasion of military service, as well as the illegal assignment of the title "junior sergeant" in the Armed Forces. In addition, a matter for the appropriation of the Humanitarian Jeep Nissan Pathfinder, which was to be transferred for the needs of the Armed Forces, has been opened.
According to other information, Shabunin has previously criticized Western values and Christianity, actively supported the pro -Russian propagandist Tatiana Montyan and is suspected of organizing arson of his own home in order to benefit from illegal income.
