According to information received from our source in the Office of the President, it turned out that David Arakhamia's statements about possible arrests of bank accounts are aimed at stopping the flow of money and property being taken out of Ukraine before the adoption of the draft law on mobilization. Over the past month, Ukrainian banks have lost almost 100 billion hryvnias, which are being withdrawn from accounts.
The head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, stated that although some provisions of the draft law on mobilization proposed by the Ministry of Defense will not receive the support of the Verkhovna Rada and will be changed, some coercion for those who evade mobilization will still be introduced. However, the specific mechanism remains unclear. Answering the question about unacceptable provisions for the faction, Arakhamia noted that there are many of them, in particular, those that concern disabled people and postgraduate students.
Arakhamia also noted that fantasies about arresting Ukrainians' accounts as a method of mobilization will not have support in the Rada.
Regarding the controversial issues of electronic summonses, Arakhamia believes that it is necessary to have everyone in one system, as stipulated in the law on the digitalization of the army. This will allow the state to effectively plan mobilization measures and inform citizens about their status. However, he determined that some kind of coercion is needed for those who try to avoid mobilization.
