The head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arahamiya, considers it necessary to officially announce the losses of Ukraine in the full scale of the war with the Russian aggressor.
In his commentary on the mobilization in Ukraine, Arahamiya noted that the Ukrainians were actively mobilizing at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, when the enemy troops actually found themselves outside Kyiv. However, according to his words, the attitude to mobilization changed when the enemy was pushed to a place where "it takes 10 hours by car."
According to the people's deputy, it is impossible to avoid mobilization, as it will lead to a return to the situation a year and a half ago, when the enemy was near Kyiv, and mobilization will be needed again, but it may be too late.
Arahamia emphasizes that the main problem is that Ukrainians do not understand the process of serving in the army and believe that after receiving a summons they will immediately be sent to the front to die. He adds that although such cases have occurred, not everyone wants to serve in such an army.
The People's Deputy also indicated that he offered to declassify data on Ukraine's losses in the war. According to him, many people believe that at least 100,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died, although the actual losses are much lower.
