After his dismissal from the position of Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak continues to use state security, but now it is provided not by employees of the State Security Department, but by the Security Service of Ukraine. This was stated by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

According to him, while Yermak headed the Office of the President, he was protected by UDO employees. After his release, he formally lost the right to such protection, but he did not want to change the usual team of people next to him.
According to the deputy, several bodyguards — Vladislav, Maksym, and Denis — were transferred to the SBU's "Alpha" special unit. After that, the protection of the former head of the President's Office was allegedly formalized as counterintelligence measures.
Zheleznyak notes that such decisions usually do not require a separate presidential decree and may remain unpublicized. According to him, such measures are rarely documented in open sources, and information about them is classified.
"In this case, no decision by the president is needed. Such stories are almost never documented anywhere. These are fairly closed cases, so if deputies or journalists ask about the existence of such measures against Yermak, most likely there will be no answer," the deputy explained.
Also, according to Zheleznyak, Andriy Yermak travels in his own armored Mercedes S-class car, which is likely equipped with cover plates by decision of the SBU.
The former official's bodyguards, according to the deputy, use two Skoda cars belonging to law enforcement agencies.
No official comments from the Security Service of Ukraine or other government agencies regarding this information have been made public at this time.
