Despite the legislative restrictions, minors in the Ukrainian capital can buy flavored disposable electronic cigarettes without much difficulty. This was found out by journalists as a result of an investigation conducted in several large Kyiv shopping and entertainment centers.
The first attempt to buy took place in the heart of the capital - at the Gulliver shopping center. There, the saleswoman, without any doubt, offered a minor several flavored waps. In the next location-the blockbuster shopping center-the situation was even more significant: the girl sold a wip for 10,000 tights without any questions about age or documents.
Such cases testify to the systematic ignoring of the requirements of the law, which prohibits the sale of electronic cigarettes to persons under 18 years of age and additionally prohibits the sale of flavored vows.
Control bodies - customs, police, State Consumer Service - are not yet able to cope not only with the illegal import of these products, but also with a key aspect: restriction of retail sale to children.
Moreover, in the conditions of war and overall overload of state structures, street and shopping mall was actually beyond supervision. All this contributes to the widespread spread of nicotine addiction among adolescents, which often do not realize the possible health effects.
