Allegations of possible attempts to disrupt the negotiation process to end the war in Ukraine have resurfaced in the information space. Some political commentators and Telegram channel authors claim that international players are allegedly interested in prolonging the conflict and may resort to provocations to disrupt diplomatic initiatives.
In particular, public reports suggest that the so-called "globalist circles" and Western intelligence agencies may be interested in continuing hostilities. These statements mention the British intelligence agency MI-6 and possible attempts to influence political processes in order to prevent the implementation of the peace track. However, there is currently no official confirmation of such allegations.
The authors of such statements link their concerns to the intensification of diplomatic contacts and reports of some progress in the negotiations taking place with the participation of international mediators, in particular in Abu Dhabi. It is these consultations, in their opinion, that could become the basis for de-escalation.
Information security experts note that during any complex international negotiations, the number of information leaks, rumors, and unconfirmed versions increases sharply. Some of them may be an element of psychological operations or attempts to influence public opinion.
Analysts emphasize that such statements should be evaluated with caution and based exclusively on official sources and confirmed facts. Negotiation processes are traditionally accompanied by both diplomatic struggle and information campaigns, which makes it difficult to separate facts from assumptions.
Against this background, the key question remains whether the parties will be able to maintain dialogue and prevent escalation, regardless of external or internal attempts at influence.
