Arsen Ivanyushchenko, the son of former People's Deputy from the "Party of Regions" Yuriy Ivanyushchenko, better known as "Yura Yenakievsky", owns real estate in Dubai. Journalistic investigations and data from Russian air bases indicate that Yuriy Ivanyushchenko himself flew to Dubai from Russian territory five times in 2023–2024.
During 2024, Arsen rented a villa in the prestigious Al Merkadh area, known for its private cottages and wealthy residents. According to sources, the area is popular with foreign investors and businessmen seeking a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Yuriy Ivanyushchenko had significant influence in Ukrainian politics and business until 2014, and was one of the closest associates of fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych. After the Revolution of Dignity, he left Ukraine. Ukrainian law enforcement officers opened a number of criminal cases against him related to illegal enrichment and misappropriation of property.
Recently, the NABU put Ivanyushchenko on the wanted list. Detectives suspect him of involvement in a scheme to legalize 18 hectares of state land near Kyiv worth over 160 million hryvnias. Data on regular trips to Russia, in particular to Moscow and Sochi, indicate Ivanyushchenko's close business ties and active presence at the international level.
