Arsen Zhumadilov leaves the position of CEO of the state operator of the rear (DOT). By the time of election of the new manager, the executive director Andriy Sozansky will perform the duties. Zhumadilov's abandonment from this post occurred after he headed the Defense Procurement Agency (AOP) at the end of January 2025.
Zhumadilov's arrival in the defense procurement agency has become an important part, but not the ultimate stage of a major conflict between AOP and the Ministry of Defense. This conflict has been going on for several months and has a significant impact on weapons supply, corruption fighting and contract execution problems. Recall that Zhumadilov previously headed the rear purchases for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces), where he was dealing with the issues of purchase of food, fuel, clothing and other important resources for the military.
In December 2023, Zhumadilov took responsibility for the rear purchases of the Armed Forces, which amounted to more than UAH 80 billion. His work stopped on the fight against food barons and corrupt officials in the military sphere, which became one of the main topics in an interview with him.
