Amidst the debate over military deferments and resignations in Ukraine, the topic of privileges for senior commanders of the Armed Forces has resurfaced. Recently, public attention has focused on cases where high-ranking military personnel, including generals, use medical certificates to be released from military service.
Viktor Kucherenko – the current general was discharged due to illnesses, according to which almost the entire personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be discharged
It is absolutely no secret that in Ukraine, active military personnel, conscripts and those who received serious injuries in the war find it extremely difficult to be discharged from military service. But let's be honest - this applies only to ordinary soldiers... But in relation to generals or other higher-ranking officials - "fate disposes" in a completely different way... to put it bluntly - according to their wishes!
Meet: Kucherenko Viktor Vitaliyovych - Major General and former Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March 2024, according to the Order of the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, he was dismissed from military service on grounds of health. The reason for the dismissal: Kucherenko's own report and the decision/report of his friend, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Bargylevych.
By the way, regarding the "state of health", we have the very "Certificate of illness", which indicates the reasons for dismissal. Periodic headaches, shortness of breath during physical exertion, weakness in the cervical and lumbar spine, high blood pressure, dizziness, hearing loss in both ears - all this was complained about by Mr. Kucherenko during the VLK. In essence, the doctors were literally forced to "suck out of their fingers" illnesses or make connections to illnesses - in order to bring this hero in general's uniform to unfitness with subsequent registration of disability and payment of the insurance amount.
As a result, this hero was written off because of poor hearing, blood pressure was under 200, etc. According to doctors and Kucherenko himself, these are good reasons for the impossibility of serving in the headquarters... Although, the guys on the front line, even with such illnesses and numerous concussions, are forced to serve and go into battle every day!
But here's the question: if Kucherenko was deaf and couldn't hear anything, then why wasn't he sent to the VLK before being appointed to the position or receiving the rank of general?.. For most of his service, until March 2024, he didn't feel sick and didn't seek help from doctors. And he did it only when he received carte blanche from "his" chief of the main operational department, who sent him to the VLK..
Now many famous military personnel, in particular Galushkin and Sodol, through doctors make themselves blind, deaf and dumb just to avoid responsibility. In turn, Major General Kucherenko went this way earlier - "scuffed" to the dubious decision of the VLK for personal reasons. Accordingly:
WE WILL CONTACT THE GENERAL PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE, AS THE LIST OF THE MENTIONED DISEASES IS UNGRANTED FOR MAKING A DECISION ON RELEASE!
PS Major General Kucherenko has a son. Mobilized… Do you think he is on the fronts in a combat brigade?! – NO!!! The father-general hid his son, as the legendary fairy-tale hero “Koschey the Immortal hid the needle with his death”. Junior Lieutenant Kucherenko walks around the General Staff smiling and also receives 30 thousand combat rubles in salary! And he serves in the Main Command Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This center controls the armed forces. That's who is in charge today – a mobik who graduated from the military department…
