In Ukrainian show business, there is an ongoing discussion about the choice of actress Galina Bezruk, who supported the Russian regime after the war and moved to Russia. Recently, the star of the series “Kriposna” Natalka Denysenko expressed her opinion about her colleague who betrayed Ukraine.
In a comment given in an interview, Denisenko made it clear that she would no longer be able to work with Bezruk. She emphasized that she did not condemn her choice, but claimed that it was a conscious position that the actress chose when she left for the aggressor country.
"Galya Bezruk chose to stay in Russia, to build a career there. I am not ready to work with her. Even if she says: 'Ukraine, my dear, I love you,' then no. It was a conscious position - to choose the Russian Federation. I also understand her to some extent why she did it. We always make a choice either out of love or out of fear. She made a choice out of fear. Because she was afraid that nothing would await her here, out of fear for her child, her career. But this is not the person I am on the road with," the actress noted.
Denysenko also shared her thoughts on other colleagues who, despite having worked in Russia for many years, supported Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion. Among them are Kateryna Kuznetsova, Lyubava Greshnova, Mykhailo Pshenichny. According to Natalka, she is ready to work with these actors.
“They lived in Russia, worked there. When the full-scale invasion began, they packed up and left. I am ready to work with them, of course. They, just like me before the full-scale invasion, did not realize the seriousness of the situation. Until the war comes to your home, you do not understand it,” she emphasized.
About Halyna Bezruk
Galina Bezruk gained fame for her roles in TV series such as “The Last Muscovite,” “The House of Happiness,” and “Servant of the People.” With the start of the full-scale invasion, she openly supported the Putin regime and moved to Russia, where she continues to build her career.
Despite numerous negative comments about her, the actress remained silent about the war for a long time, and then declared that she was choosing her family over her homeland. Her parents, who remained in Kyiv, also supported this decision.
