As a result of the Russian attack on the Kyiv region on Friday night, debris from downed drones caused the death of one person and the injury of four people. This was announced by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk in his Telegram channel.
"A difficult night for the Kyiv region. Another attack by enemy UAVs. The anxiety lasted all night. Air defense forces worked in the region. Enemy targets are shot down. Hitting critical or residential infrastructure was not allowed. Unfortunately, there is a victim and victims," Kalashnyk said.
According to him, as previously reported, the driver of the truck born in 1999 died of his injuries at the scene as a result of falling fragments of the downed enemy target. In another area, as a result of debris from a downed target falling on a private house, a fire broke out, which was extinguished. Three people were injured: a woman born in 1957 - an acute reaction to stress; boy, 16 years old – knee cut, hospitalized in children's hospital. His 43-year-old father has bruises and cuts on his legs.
"A young woman born in 2002 was wounded in the stomach on the street in one of the settlements. She is currently in the operating room. Doctors are fighting for her life," Kalashnyk said.
In total, according to his data, 14 private houses, a utility building, 2 car washes, a car, a power line, a transformer were damaged in the region.
Operational groups continue to fix and eliminate the consequences of the enemy's night attack.
