Forecasters predict that the atmospheric front will bring cold air and rains that will cool most of the country's territory. At the same time, in the south and east, the temperature is still high at a fairly high level.
Atmospheric front will bring rain and cold
According to Natalka Didenko, on Saturday, April 26, the atmospheric front will pass through the territory of Ukraine. This will cause rains and thunderstorms in most southern, eastern and central regions, while in the west and north, precipitation is unlikely. In these regions, in addition to Sumy region, it is expected to reduce air temperature.
The temperature decline will affect most of the central, northern and western regions, where the temperature will drop to +12… +17 ° C in the daytime. In the south and east of the country, the temperature will remain in the range of +20… +26 ° C.
Cool and windy weather
In addition to the rains, the atmospheric front will also bring the gust wind of the north direction. In the capital, rains with thunderstorms will take place at night and in the morning, but in the daytime it will no longer be. But the temperature in Kiev will still drop to +12… +14 ° C, which is cool enough for the end of April.
Frost on soil: a danger to plants
On the night of April 27 and 28, Ukraine is predicted on soil frosts, especially in the western, northern and central regions. Forecasters warn that frosts are also possible in the east of the country on April 28.
This can be a threat to crops, in particular to early plants that have already begun to bloom or develop.
Warming next week
Although at the end of the week the temperature will be low for the end of April, warming is expected to be warmed at the beginning of next week, though without summer heat. The temperatures will remain within moderate spring values.
