As a result of the Russian attack on the Kyiv region on Friday night, debris from downed drones killed one person and injured four others, Mykola Kalashnyk, the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported on his Telegram channel.
"A difficult night for the Kyiv region. Another attack by enemy UAVs. The alarm lasted all night. Air defense forces were working in the region. Enemy targets were shot down. No hits were made on critical or residential infrastructure. Unfortunately, there are victims and injured people," Kalashnik noted.
According to him, as previously reported, a truck driver born in 1999 died at the scene from injuries sustained as a result of falling debris from a downed enemy target. In another area, a fire broke out as a result of debris from a downed target falling on a private house, which was extinguished. Three people were injured: a woman born in 1957 - acute stress reaction; a boy, 16 years old - a cut on his knee, hospitalized in a children's hospital. His 43-year-old father has abrasions on his legs and cuts.
“In another settlement, a young woman born in 2002 was wounded in the stomach on the street. She is currently in the operating room. Doctors are fighting for her life,” Kalashnik said.
In total, according to him, 14 private houses, an outbuilding, 2 car washes, a car, a power line, and a transformer were damaged in the region.
Operational groups continue work to record and eliminate the consequences of the enemy's night attack.
