On the evening of Saturday, October 19, Russian occupation forces launched two attacks on Kryvyi Rih using ballistic missiles. This was reported by the head of the city's Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul. According to him, as of 01:39, 13 people were known to have been injured, including one person in the operating room.
Residential buildings were damaged during the enemy attack, which prompted an immediate response from local rescue and medical services. Details of the affected areas have not yet been disclosed, but Vilkul noted that all services are working at full capacity to eliminate the consequences of the strike and provide assistance to the victims.
“The headquarters for helping people has been deployed in the Dovhyntsiv Executive Committee at 11 Dniprovsky Highway. The necessary materials for repairing houses, such as film and OSB, are already being delivered,” Vilkul added. Victims can also contact the nearest Invincibility Point, located in school No. 109 on Yaroslav the Wise Street.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, also reported that a car caught fire as a result of the Russian army's strikes, but the fire was quickly extinguished. Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing.
