The car of the BEB detective, which caused the accident with the injured woman, was arrested: there are no suspects yet

The focus was on a road accident involving the detective of the Bureau of Economic Security Oleksandr Tkachuk, which resulted in the woman losing two legs. According to the mass media, after the accident, law enforcement officers seized the car driven by Tkachuk, as well as two other vehicles that were involved in this traffic incident.

In the summer of this year, Oleksandr Tkachuk, the head of the main detective division of the Security Intelligence Service of Ukraine, driving a Totota Camry on the Stolychny Highway in the city of in Kyiv, ran over a woman, as a result of which the latter suffered amputation of both legs. The capital's Territorial Department of the SBI is investigating the criminal proceedings on this fact.

With the passage of almost half a year, Tkachuk has still not been informed of suspicion within the framework of the case. Instead, at the request of the investigator, the court seized the car of the BEB official and his license plate separately. This is evidenced by the Resolutions of the Pechersk District Court.

Two other cars involved in the accident were also arrested.

"Seize property, in criminal proceedings No. 62024100120000599 dated 07/14/2024, namely:

  • TOYOTA SAMRU car, registration number NUMBER_8, body number NUMBER_5, which, according to the vehicle registration certificate NUMBER_7, is owned by ТЗОВ "INFORMAцIYA_4", registered at the address: ADDRESS_1;
  • car VAZ 21093, registration number NUMBER_2, body number NUMBER_10.
  • a DODGE JOURNEY CROSSROAD car, registration number NUMBER_2, body number NUMBER_13", says one of the Resolutions.

In another case, two pairs of shoes and a Totota Camry license plate were seized.

Totota Camry, which was driven by BEB official Tkachuk, is missing from his income declarations. Instead, this car is registered to the Odesa company "Elvikon", the founder of which is the Seychelles offshore company "AVERS INTERTRADE LTD". The same company is the founder and 100% owner of the pawnshop (PT "AVERS INTERTRADE LTD" Pawnshop "AVERS INTERTRADE LTD" with registration in occupied Mariupol).

Despite the fact that the accident in which Tkachuk injured a woman happened back in July, neither medical nor auto-technical examinations were ordered in the case for a long time, the publication clarifies.

Until now, BEB has never commented on the tragic accident caused by Tkachuk. Despite the active phase of the investigation, the head of the main unit of detectives was not removed from his position in order to prevent him from exerting pressure on investigators and judges. Tkachuk continues to be free and goes to work.
