The car wanted by Interpol was found by border guards in Transcarpathia

Border guards at the Luzhanka checkpoint in Zakarpattia found a 2005 Volkswagen car that is wanted internationally. The vehicle was stolen in the Czech Republic and was driven by a Ukrainian citizen at the time of the arrest.

It is noted that during the inspection of the vehicle, which was driven by a 44-year-old citizen of Ukraine, the Interpol database was activated, the press service of the Mukachevo border detachment writes.

As it turned out, the car was stolen in September 2024 in the Czech Republic, and it was listed in the register of stolen vehicles of the General Secretariat of Interpol.
