Slovak truckers are preparing for a strike at the border with Ukraine

Slovak carriers plan to resume the strike at the border with Ukraine this afternoon, December 11. The trade union of Slovak carriers announced this on its Facebook page.

"Entry to the territory of the Slovak Republic for cargo transport will be blocked. Passenger transportation will not be limited in any way. The decision was made based on the assessment of the received information and its impact on the Slovak road transport market. Thus, we join the protests organized in Poland from November 6, 2023, and in Hungary from December 11, 2023," the message reads.

Slovak carriers are going to block the Vyshnye Nemetske border crossing from 3 p.m.
