For the repair of the capital metro between "Demiivska" and "Lybidska" stations, the Kyiv Metro signed a contract with "SP Avtostrada" LLC for UAH 445.49 million.
This is evidenced by the data on the state procurement portal Prozorro.
According to the agreement concluded on April 30, the works must be completed by the end of 2024. The owner of Avtostrada Maksym Shkil told Forbes-Ukraine that the company expects to complete the work by the end of August this year.
According to Shkil, the agreement was concluded without bidding, under a direct contract, the repair of the section between the "Demiivska" and "Lybidska" stations is urgently needed for the operation of the blue line of the metro.
"Avtostrada offered a price almost twice lower than the customer's estimate, approximately UAH 400 million. This price offer was the lowest among competitors. To date, no one has paid a penny for this object in Autostrada. Advancement is not provided for, this is how the contract is written. Now we are working to make a name for ourselves in metro construction," Shkil explained.
