Beleniuk reached the quarterfinals of the 2024 Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling

Ukrainian wrestler Zhan Beleniuk continues to impress at the Olympics in Paris, winning the 1/8 finals in Greco-Roman wrestling.

In the match against the Chinese athlete Qian Haitao, Beleniuk won confidently with a score of 7:1, confirming his status as one of the favorites of the competition.

Beleniuk will meet Kazakhstan's Nursultan Tursynov in the quarterfinals.

Another Ukrainian, Parviz Nasibov, reached the quarterfinals of the 2024 Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling up to 67 kg in a fight against Serbian wrestler Mate Nemeš.

In the quarterfinals, Nasibov will meet Amantur Ismailov from Kyrgyzstan.

The next matches are expected to take place at approximately 1:50 p.m.
