Volunteer, veteran, and Victory Drones project leader Maria Berlinska has announced the possibility of a large-scale Russian offensive in at least three regions of Ukraine. On Hromadske Radio, she emphasized that she is considering the worst-case scenario — a full-scale attempt to destroy Ukraine as a state.
"I allow everything. Because I'm starting from the worst-case scenario. A scenario where they want to completely erase us," Berlinska noted.
According to her, illusions about the possibility of "agreement" with the aggressor are dangerous and groundless. She gave examples of Russia's attempts at appeasement in 2014, which ended in a new escalation.
"If someone thinks that somewhere out there Putin will stop along the Dnieper, if we give him a part... There is no sacrifice that will be sufficient. Except for the entire territory of Ukraine and us as a people. Which must either be destroyed, or part of it - go under occupation slavery," she emphasized.
Berlinska explained that this position is not a call for panic, but rather for conscious preparation. “If you want peace, prepare for war,” the volunteer concluded.
As a reminder, earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported that Russian troops have already effectively launched an offensive in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. The enemy also plans to create a buffer zone in the Chernihiv region.
