The 155th separate brigade named after Anna of Kyiv, which was trained and armed in France, was divided among other units after arriving in Ukraine. People's deputy Maryana Bezugla reported this in her post, calling the situation another example of the creation of so-called "paper brigades".
According to the member of parliament, the unit, which was trained in France, did not receive proper combat coordination after returning to Ukraine. Instead, it was actually divided, sending fighters to other brigades.
"This is a typical situation for the new "zombie brigade". They are created for reporting purposes, staffed with people, but combat coordination is not carried out. The units are broken up, most of them are sent to attack aircraft, and some are left in the headquarters thanks to the "schematoses," Bezugla writes.
The deputy also quotes a message from one of the military brigades. He describes that the unit was needed only for a demonstration in front of the French partners:
"They made a show in front of the French in order to get weapons. And now the brigade has been disassembled into parts, like donor organs for other units."
According to the military, such a strategy strengthens the existing brigades, but negates the effectiveness of the newly created unit due to the lack of coordination between the fighters.
