Maryana Bezugla once again voiced her sharp criticism of the command of the Air Force of Ukraine, calling for the dismissal of General Mykola Oleshchuk "following Sodol." The deputy accused the generals of incompetence after, according to her, the Ukrainian army lost two Patriot systems. In her opinion, this happened due to weak control and shortcomings in the organization of defense.
On her Facebook page, Bezugla published an emotional post in which she expressed disbelief in the abilities of the generals and called for a meeting with the command to review the incidents and find a solution. She is also outraged by the management's inaction in the face of the Russian threat, calling the situation in the Armed Forces a "crisis."
Responding to her statements, the former spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, called Bezugla a person ignorant of military matters who potentially serves the interests of Russian propaganda. He denied her interpretation of the Patriot incidents and emphasized the need to maintain Ukraine's defense capabilities in the face of increased enemy activity.
In general, the conflicting statements of Bezuglai caused a resonance in the public and among experts, who emphasize the importance of joint efforts and support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the difficult time of the fight against aggression.
