The White House suspends military assistance to Ukraine: they demand an apology from Zelensky

The White House decided to temporarily suspend military assistance to Ukraine related to a recent meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Trump administration in the oval office. According to unnamed officials, Washington demands public apology from President Zelensky because of his actions that caused a break in relations between the two countries.

According to them, US President Donald Trump and his "senior assistants" are sought from Zelensky recognition - perhaps in the form of public apologies - before signing a mineral agreement or discussing the continuation of military assistance.

The decision to stop assistance was made today… and is a strategy of pressure on Ukraine

- quotes the publication of one of his interlocutors.

The media also reminds that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was one of the officials who publicly urged Zelensky to apologize.

US Vice President Jay Di Vation believes that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will eventually agree to participate in peace talks to end Russia's war in Ukraine. This statement was heard before the US announcement of suspension of military assistance to Ukraine.
