Blockade on the Polish border: more than 10 trucks stuck at the Medika-Shehyni checkpoint

On the Polish-Ukrainian border, the movement of trucks continues to be blocked at the Medika-Shegyny checkpoint. This happened due to a protest organized by Polish protesters, who declared a blockade for 48 hours. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, there are currently about 10 trucks waiting to enter Ukraine.

“On November 23, 2024, at about 10 a.m., Polish protesters began blocking the Medika-Shehyni border crossing. According to preliminary information, it will last 48 hours, with a possible extension. The restrictions do not apply to the category of passenger cars and buses. Currently, border guards do not record a concentration of trucks on the way out of Ukraine. On the Polish side, there are about 10 freight vehicles in front of the participants of the action,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported.
