Blockade on the Polish border: more than 10 trucks are stuck at the "Medyka-Szehyny" checkpoint

On the Polish-Ukrainian border, the blocking of the movement of trucks at the checkpoint "Medyka - Shehyny" continues. This happened because of a protest organized by Polish demonstrators, who announced a blockade for 48 hours. According to the information of the State Border Service of Ukraine, there are currently about 10 trucks in the queue to enter Ukraine.

"On November 23, 2024, around 10 o'clock, Polish protesters began blocking the Medyka-Szeghini highway." According to preliminary information, it will last 48 hours, with a possible extension. Restrictions do not apply to the category of passenger cars and buses. Currently, the border guards do not record the accumulation of trucks when leaving Ukraine. There are about 10 freight vehicles in front of the participants of the action at the entrance to Ukraine, on the Polish side," the DPSU reported.
