While thousands of Ukrainians live under missile threats and summonses, some figures with millions in income from fraud are quietly leaving the country. Thus, according to a new post on Instagram, scandalous blogger Denis Povetkin is already outside Ukraine.
The published photo shows a view of the island from the plane's porthole, which eloquently confirms his departure. This is a signal not only about the escape of a specific individual, but also about the systemic indifference of law enforcement officers, who have been alerted to his activities for years.
Povetkin is one of the most famous representatives of the so-called “infogypsyism.” He gained his popularity thanks to aggressive advertising of the Binomo financial platform, which is considered a classic pyramid scheme in various countries.
In his videos, the blogger promised easy income “in a couple of months,” demonstrating a luxurious lifestyle. Among the most blatant techniques are the public destruction of expensive cars, mass targeting of advertising to young people, and selling “success” on Instagram.
Binomo was positioned as a “trading platform”, but in reality it drained the money of thousands of “investors” who believed in the fairy tale of getting rich quick.
In addition to pyramid schemes, Povetkin actively promoted online casinos, often with dubious licenses. At the same time, he sold “training courses” that had no real value. Sources suggest that his profits reached millions of hryvnias every month, and major players in the gambling market paid him for the promotions.
Despite public revelations, numerous journalistic posts, and complaints from deceived Ukrainians, no official charges were brought against Povetkin. And now, with the tacit consent of the system, he simply got on a plane and disappeared — likely forever.
The system missed the moment again. Or didn't want to see it. As a result, we have another infogypsy who "built an empire out of thin air," profited from people, and simply left — without trial, without sentence, without consequences.
