Blogger Dasha Kvitkova is in the spotlight again – this time not because of her personal life, but because of a spelling mistake. After an unexpected proposal from Volodymyr Brazhko, her social media page is being watched with particular attention by her followers, and any mistake quickly becomes a reason for criticism.
Dasha misspelled the word "autumn" in her story, and the "direct troops" immediately noticed it. Instead of keeping the situation quiet, the blogger decided to respond with humor. She shared a video where she admitted that she had indeed made a mistake and joked that as a child, her mother made her rewrite words to remember the correct version.
" Yes, I'm guilty, I made a mistake. But now I've spelled this word correctly ," said Kvitkova, adding a smile.
The girl didn't just stop at the excuse and even gave a mini-lesson of Ukrainian for her followers. She explained that the word "autumn" in the accusative case is not used with the preposition "на", and the construction "на осень" is a calque from Russian.
" Friends, the direct troops are not sleeping, so they hurried to point out my mistake. The word 'autumn' is used in the accusative case. The option 'for autumn' is a tracing paper, there is no such thing in the Ukrainian language ," the blogger emphasized.
Dasha ended her mini-lecture with a humorous conclusion: "The textbooks are closed, everyone gets a 5."
Thus, even a mistake in a word turned into an occasion for Kvitkova to once again remind herself and emphasize her openness to criticism.
