Ukrainian chatbots, in particular those belonging to the State Security Service and the Security Service of Ukraine, have become the object of blocking on the Telegram platform. This step, according to the chairman of the Committee on Freedom of Speech of the Rada Yurchyshyn, is the FSB's response to Ukraine's efforts to influence the popular messenger through the Apple company.
"Ukrainian authorities, in particular through the involvement of the Apple platform, managed to find a solution to block Russian propaganda in TG. Of course, the FSB didn't like it and they forced Durov to block anything related to Ukraine. First of all, with military actions. Logically expecting that part of the society will perceive it not as an attack by the Russian special services, but according to the principle "it was not worth criticizing". It is very easy to calculate," said Yurchyshyn.
His last phrase refers to the wave of criticism against Yurchyshyn, which swept through a number of Telegram channels (mostly close to Bankova) yesterday. They wrote that with his statements, the people's deputy provoked Telegram to take appropriate actions (Yurchyshyn was among those who called to limit the messenger's work in Ukraine).
