The investigating judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv issued a ruling to seize property worth over UAH 2.7 billion within the framework of criminal proceedings No. 22022101110000748. The investigation is being conducted by the State Bureau of Investigation and concerns the activities of Dniprometalservicegroup LLC and its beneficial owners Serhiy Ganzelinsky and Oleksandr Dementienko.
The company received loans from PJSC Delta Bank for a total of 36.7 million euros in 2011–2013, but did not repay the debt, which currently amounts to 2.69 billion UAH. Part of the loans was secured by collateral in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, which became impossible after the annexation of the peninsula. In addition, 385 thousand euros of refinancing from the NBU could have been misappropriated by criminals.
The investigation established that the company's owners organized a scheme to evade debt repayment, in particular by liquidating LLC "Dniprometalservicegroup" in 2015 and transporting collateral to Latvia, which is used by Madesta SIA. In addition, the businessmen re-registered companies in the Russian Federation, paying taxes and concluding contracts with enterprises of the defense complex of the aggressor country, which qualifies as high treason.
The court imposed subsidiary liability on them in the amount of UAH 2.69 billion by decision dated December 20, 2024. As part of the decision, the following were arrested:
-
100% of corporate rights of LLC "Investment and Industrial Company "Assets Management Group"" (UAH 33.5 million);
-
Non-residential premises in Dnipro (666.3 m²) and Chernivtsi (2,563.2 m²);
-
Cash in 10 bank accounts at Sense Bank and Ukrgasbank, excluding tax payments.
